We have been learning about the preparation for a wedding and
had the opportunity to practise our poses for the big day!
We learnt about the different members of the British Royal family and
discussed what makes this occasion special.
We spoke about how many people in the UK might be celebrating and how many worldwide could be watching it on the TV.
Impact: Y1 learners are able to recall members of the royal family and explain how some of them are related to Prince Harry. Some of our learners understand that the royal wedding is important to the country and that tea parties and celebrations are part of British culture.
Children spoke about special occasions they have attended and
thought about how people prepare for celebrations.
